Andrew Cook
Andrew Cook was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Shortly after graduation from the University of Georgia, Andrew enrolled at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he earned a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in the Western Classics. After successfully completing this two-year program in just 14 months, Andrew then enrolled in law school at the University of Texas.
During his time at the University of Texas School of Law, Andrew was very active in the trial advocacy program and was a member of numerous competitive mock trial teams. In 2005, Andrew was a member of the University of Texas team that won the American Bar Association’s Inaugural Mock Arbitration Championship in St. Paul, Minnesota. In recognition of his dedication and success as an advocate, Andrew was subsequently inducted into the Order of Barristers.
After graduating from law school, Andrew moved to Houston where he began his legal career as an Associate with a highly-regarded commercial litigation boutique. In 2010, Andrew joined the Mostyn Law Firm where his focus is first party insurance litigation. Andrew is licensed to practice before all state courts in the State of Texas, as well as federal courts in the Southern District of Texas. Andrew is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association.
