Academic and Professional Experience:
Ms. Montgomery was born in Fort Worth, Texas and went to school at Martin High School in Arlington, TX, where she graduated in the top 3% of her class and was a top state ranked debate champion. Ms. Montgomery went on to college at Baylor University on a Presidential Academic Merit Scholarship.
After graduating from Baylor University in 2002, Ms. Montgomery moved back to her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, where she pursued her career for three years as a Financial/Risk Analyst. In the fall of 2005, Ms. Montgomery enrolled at Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas. While enrolled at Baylor Law, Ms. Montgomery was named to the Order of the Barristers for her success as speaker in the Moot Court Competition. Ms. Montgomery graduated and took the bar in February 2008 and began her legal career.
Since graduating from law school, Ms. Montgomery has spent her legal career fighting for the rights of the insured in both the personal and commercial insurance contexts. She joined the Mostyn Law Firm in 2010.
