Shampa C. Mukerji
Shampa was born in Houston, Texas and spent part of her childhood in Saudi Arabia before moving to California for high school. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications in 2000, and worked in the advertising industry in Chicago for two years before returning home to Texas for law school. Shampa attended the University of Houston Law Center and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2005. While in law school, she served as an Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and as Chief Justice of the Honor Court.
Shampa gained experience practicing both transactional law and civil litigation before joining the Mostyn Law Firm in July 2010 where she now focuses on plaintiffs’ first-party insurance litigation. Shampa is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas. She is currently a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
