Mostyn Law Firm Rides to the Finish Line for National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The Mostyn Law Firm continues to show their support for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) and its’ Lone Star Chapter by donating $100,000 for the second year in a row. “This event truly brings out the best in people and I am proud that my family and our firm can participate and contribute to the tremendous work of the Multiple Sclerosis Society,” said Steve Mostyn.
In the MS150 Bike Ride, three riders, Greg Cox, Cossette Callahan and Gino Wells represented the firm. All three deserve recognition, not only for completing the 180 mile ride, but for their dedication to the purpose of NMSS.
The firm was proud to have a tent at the finish line filled with cheering employees and volunteers. They offered exhausted riders a much needed free chair massage, lip balm, snacks and drinks. More than 20 volunteers of the firm staff from Houston, Beaumont and Austin were there to lend a hand and show support.
In the weeks leading up to the ride, the firm also instituted a unique “Jeans on Friday” fundraising policy. Employees of the firm donated $5 or more in order to wear jeans to work on Friday. In a little over a month, Mostyn Law Firm staff was able to raise an additional $1,015. “It is truly an honor to know that we have dedicated people in our firm that not only work hard every day to ensure that our clients are best represented, but who are also willing to give back to the community for a cause that benefits so many. I’m proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication,” said Amber Mostyn.
