Mental Health America
Mental Health America has long been at the forefront of progressive values in mental health care. They pride ourselves on being community-oriented and led by the voices of those with lived experience. Throughout their history, they have sought to lift the stories of individuals who are traumatized by discrimination or mistreatment.
Black Mental Health Alliance
BIPOC Mental Health Month. Formally recognized in May 2008, National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed each July and was created by Bebe Moore Campbell to bring awareness to the unique struggles that underrepresented groups face regarding mental illness in the United States.
